Diabetic Neuropathy

Diabetic neuropathy is a disease related to nervous system, in which nerves are damaged due to the high blood glucose levels, leading to various side effects. Presently there is no cure for the diabetic neuropathy. But a method such as Diabetic neuropathy pain management therapy plays an important role in managing the sufferings of the patients. Recent study says that there are close links between the diabetic neuropathy and cardiovascular risk. In addition they may also have more marked insulin resistance and they excrete more amount of albumin content. These improper conditions in the body may lead to dyslipidaemias. Due to the accumulation of Cystatin C in the blood, the glomerular filtration gets declined.

Other complications include- changes in vision, infections in kidney and bladder, involuntary muscle contractions, speech impairment. There are real evidences that tight control on blood sugar levels can reduce the development of diabetic neuropathy.

Scientists state that daily moderate exercise will give a good control over the blood pressure and reducing the risk of diabetic neuropathy. Exercise will also delay the progression of renal and cardiovascular disease. Development of Novel therapies may meet the current challenges but the better way of using should be known for effective treatment.
